2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) stars Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Eva Mendes, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, and more. This film is just absolutely amazing, presenting as the sequel to the Fast & Furious franchise. If you don’t know much about cars, this film literally makes you want to know. I’ll share some of my favorite scenes.

Skyline Scene

Paul Walker, starring as Brian O’Connor, the ex-LAPD that we all love. He arrives on the scene and we all can’t wait to watch him DRIVE. He is such an enticing character and I am always with the desire to root for him, even in tense moments where I am not sure if he can pull it off.

Highway Chase Scene

I was literally screaming the entire time they were making their way. I love the relationship that Brian has with Roman Pearce, played by Tyrese Gibson. Although they clearly have a history — It did not stop them from syncing in with each other’s flows and finding the right way to lean on each other while on the road. They have the kind of friendship like brothers do. No matter what happens, you come back together. For Roman to have opened up the way he did, it made you consider how easy it is to often blame others for the mistakes that we’ve made in life. I can understand why Roman would blame Brian in some capacity over what occurred, but when he takes that moment to come to terms with his own choices. That’s when you know his character has reached their enlightened point.

Sunset Scene

Yes, I will now talk about how hot Eva Mendes was in this film. She was just absolutely flawless. I wanted to reach into the screen and grab her.

Monica Fuentes; Verone’s Pool

I will mention that at first, I considered that perhaps she was actually pulling a Brian and was in too deep with the Verone character, but she she actually “fell” for Brian. She even looked good with a gun pointed at her. How could you shoot that pretty face?

WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THE MIXED CAR SCENE. I was SO thrilled to see them pull that off so well that even I was like wait, where are they? This film mastered the art of surprise and car scheming. Gotta give props to Tej for always setting up the best races.

Car Scramble Scene
